Performance Training
Employers see team performance enhancement activities
"as relievers of stress at the very least and possibly
restorers of mental health If it's a group activity, they say an
additional perk is the collegial bonding that often occurs far
from the workrooms, both among colleagues and between supervisors and
the supervised."

At
Meeting Oasis, our team performance training retreats
are designed to suit your team needs, budget and
existing training initiatives.
Dr. Barbara Frank uses fun and engaging indoor and outdoor experiential
team building activities as metaphors for real workplace challenges.
She knows that individuals retain more of what they learn when they are
fully engaged in discovering information. The team building
exercises are opportunities for team members to learn to value
diversity; appreciate the contributions made by others, and to
experience the joy of supporting other people in their endeavors.
All programs include a team needs assessment. Meeting Oasis offers
the new and highly effective
Klein Group Instrument (KGI™), designed
specifically to evaluate team health and to make concrete
recommendations for improvement of team dynamics. In addition, we
offer the
Myers Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI™) which is particularly
useful in providing insight into individual communication and work
styles.
Meeting Oasis specializes in the following critical components of team
performance:
-
Team Dynamics
Determine your team's problem-solving and
decision-making style.
-
Team Management
Empower your team to
face change and embrace during periods of transition.
-
Team Leadership
Assess current
leadership competencies and develop the leadership abilities of team
members
-
Communication Skills
Practice effective listening, sending and
receiving messages, giving and accepting feedback.
Dr. Frank is pleased to travel to other locations to
provide facilitation and team performance expertise.
In addition to our Meeting Oasis site in Northern Virginia, Dr. Frank
offers team meetings at our new satellite center
in the beautiful Red
Rock Country of Sedona, Arizona.

were enlightening. It
was quite interesting to see
how our teammates "hidden"

As a certified Myers Briggs™
profiler/trainer, Dr. Frank has developed Myers Briggs
sessions to help participants to understand
their Myers-Briggs type indicator (MBTI™) and the MBTI™ of
others in the team. MBTI™ indicators are based on 4
preferences: how one prefers to direct one’s energy; process
information; make decisions and organize one’s life.
Myers-Briggs profiling gives one insight into one’s own
natural inclination or preference for certain ways of
thinking and behaving.
