Connection aimed at helping team members
to experience inter-connectedness
Participants are asked to choose a
part of Nature
to represent (eagle, stream, air, plant, etc.) The first
person is given a ball of string and is asked to state to the group
the part of Nature he/she is representing; "I am an eagle." Then if
there is someone in the group with a connection to the eagle, he/she
would declare it:
"I am a fish and am food to the eagle." The ball of
string is unwound and passed to the fish. In a
matter of minutes, a web of connection is established between all
members of the group.
During debriefing, the group will be asked to draw
parallels with the role they play in their organization
and the ways in which they are connected with
other parts of the organization.

retreat after
